Subject: last day of Inland Sea cruise

A 35 mile power boat ride in heat haze and flat calm to a super marina
between Kobe and Osaka. Gill will be able to get to Itami airport from here
and we all will get to Osaka Castle for the last fling at sight seeing. The
trip was uneventful till the end. Then out of the haze a new island
appeared in front of us with an airport on it. I guess its Kobes. Then a
second new reclaimed island blocked our way. Lots of yellow buoys warning us
about something--lots of big ships coming in and out of visibility. I was
worn by the time we found the marina. We are docked next to Endeavor!! This
is the hottest day of the trip---all 3 of our ACs are on. If this is the
last day of the cruise, tomorrow begins the preparation for the Trans
Pacific crossing to Alaska--and there is a lot to do
